El Día de los Niños Planning Committee would like to inform you that we will be hosting our annual El Día de los Niños event on Saturday, May 6th from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. at The Goodman Community Center. This event is designed for Latino children and their families and all activities will take place in Spanish. The event has been a continual success and we are striving to make this year's event even better. El Día de los Niños 2017 will have plenty of activities, food, fun, games, and information for parents of Latino children, teens, and families. In past years we have had special events for youth, including a live DJ, hands-on science experiments and crafts, Folkloric dance groups, and an open mic, as well as information on Deferred Action and educational opportunities. During El Día de los Niños 2016, over 35 Dane County organizations and roughly 100 volunteers came out to participate and show their support for this event.
